The Junior Master Gardener (JMG) Program is an innovative 4-H youth gardening project. It is modeled after the highly popular Master Gardener Volunteer Program. JMG offers horticulture and environmental science education through fun and creative hands-on activities. The course is every Wednesday 10a-12:30p starting on June 5, 2024 and will meet weekly* though July 31, 2024. (*There will be no meeting on July 3, 2024) Recommended for scholars aged 8-11.

The JMG Program introduces young gardeners to the art and science of gardening, and helps them develop leadership and life skills to become good citizens within their communities, schools, and families.


Upon class registration and payment, you will receive further instructions concerning secondary registration with 4-H Online, and is required to secure your child’s spot in the series, seats do fill quickly.
